JEE 2013 (Main) Exam schedule and Pattern on the website and

CBSE released the notification for JEE 2013 (Main), Exam Schedule for JEE Main 2013 and Exam Pattern of JEE Main 2013 on the official website IIT’s all over India accepted a new JEE pattern suggested by the Human Resouce minister. JEE 2013 Examinaiton will be held in two segments, JEE Main and JEE Advanced. When a candidates passes the JEE Main Examination then the candidate is eligible for JEE Advanced Examination. 
CBSE Combined the AIEEE – All India Engineering Entrance Examination and IIT JEE – IIT Joint Entrnace Examinaiton into one unified entrance process called JEE Main and JEE Advanced. JEE Main is the entrance examination for getting admissions to various Undergraduate Engineering coursed offered by NITs, IITs and other Technical Institutions funded by Central Govt. JEE Main 2013 Online Application is started now. 
The AIEE Examination is replaced with JEE Main and IIT JEE Examination is replaced with JEE Advanced from the year 2013. CBSE is conducting both examination all over the country.  JEE Examinations are taken in two modes. JEE Main is an online examiantion and JEE Advanced is an offline examiantion. Candidates must appear JEE Main through a computer based online examination. JEE Advanced is an offline examiantion and candidates must attend the exam on an examination hall.
JEE Main Examination will be held on Online Mode and Offline Mode.  Top 1.5 Lakh candidats who passes JEE Main Examiantion only have the provision to attend the JEE Advanced Examination. CBSE Select 1.5 Lakh Candidates from the results.
JEE Advanced Examiantion will be held on 2nd June 2013. Candidates who are selected for JEE Advanced will get the provision to download JEE Advanced 2013 Admit card. JEE Advanced 2013 Admit Cards will be downloaded from 16th May 2013 through the official website of IIT Delhi. 

JEE Main 2013 Examination Application Procedure

candidates should follow these steps:
1.Fill the Application Form
2.Pay the Examination fee
3.Download the Confirmation Page

Candidates must remitt the fee for JEE Main Application to Secretary, CBSE, Delhi. Candidates can pay application throught Credit Card or Debit Card or DD. DD must be in the favours of Secretary, CBSE, Delhi. Candidates must mention the Computer generated application number on the DD. After apply online Candidates will get a computer generated confirmation page after applying online to JEE Main 2013. 
The computer generated Confirmation Page with photograph pasted, address written and signed by the candidate and his/her parent must reach the JEE (Main) office on or before 26th December 2012. The completed Confirmation Page must be sent only by registered/speed post to the Executive Director, JEE (Main) – 2013 at the given below address:

 After submission of JEE Main 2013 application no options can be changed at a later stage. 

Application Fee for JEE Main 2013 Examiantion

The fee (in indian Rupees) for JEE(Main)-2013 is as follows:

(1) In case the examination fee is paid through credit/debit cards, the candidates will need to pay an additional processing charge of 1.20% of the examination fee plus the service tax as applicable.

(2) Candidates who wish to appear in Paper-1 and Paper-2 both, may kindly note that Paper-2 will be conducted only in Pen and Paper based examination mode. If they opt for Paper-1 in Computer based examination mode, the Paper-1 will be held between 08.04.2013 and 25.04.2013 while Paper-2 will be held on 07.04.2013 in the cities for computer based examination during 02:00-05:00PM.

JEE Main 2013 Syllabus

CBSE not changed the syllabus of JEE Main 2013 Examination. The syllabus for the paper 1 is same as the jee last year syllabus so candidates don’t have worry about the syllabus. the exam pattern for the main examination has been changed so candidates should read the official announcement / notification to get the detailed information about the new exam pattern.

JEE Advanced 2013 Admisison

Top 1.5 Lakh candidates who passes JEE Main 2013 Examiantion will be automatically selectied for JEE Advanced 2013 Examiantion. JEE Advanced 2013 Examination will be conducted on pen and paper mode. JEE Advanced consists of objective type questions. 
 50.5% of the 1,50,000 (75,750 candidates) will be taken from the top rankers of the Common Merit List (CML) of JEE (Main). 27% (40,500), 15% (22,500) and 7.5% (11,250) candidates will be taken from the top rankers of the category rank lists of OBC-NCL, SC and ST, respectively. The candidates figuring in the category rank lists will be those who do not figure in the 75,750 candidates chosen from the CML.
3% of the candidates selected within each category will be those belonging to PwD (Persons with Disability) sub-category, who figure in the respective rank lists of JEE (Main).
Only the candidate’s aggregate marks in JEE (Main) will be considered and no tie-break mechanism will be implemented at this stage. This will make the list of candidates eligible to appear in JEE (Advanced)-2013 slightly more than 1,50,000 due to bunching of candidates with the same aggregate marks at the bottom of each category.

JEE Previous Year Question papers with Answers

Age Limit : Candidates with date of birth after 1.10.1988 can apply for JEE 2013 Examination (For details regarding to age relaxation please refer official notification).  

Education/Academic Qualification :

1.candidates must have passed HSC or Class 12 in the year of 2011-2012 and please note that if you have attended HSC in 2013 and those who will attend HSC in 2014 also not consider as eligible as well.

2. Candidates who have attended HSC in 2010 but failed to pass in 2010 infect passed in 2011 then they also won’t be consdier as eligible. (For more go through notification).

3. candidates can attempt JEE Main Examination maximum for 3 times. If you had appeared in AIEEE 2012 then it will consider as an attempt and then you have only two attempt left for JEE Main.
