Bank of India Probationary Officer recruitment notification 2012 published. There are 1800 vacancies for BOI PO Post. There vacancies are Banking Officers. The last date for application for the post of Bank of India Probationary Officer is 31st January 2012.

Also Syndicate Bank, Union Bank and Corporation Bank are started their recruitment process for Probationary Officer. Now Bank of India Published their notification. Now more than 15 banks will be recruiting based on the results of IBPS PO Examinaiton.

The Offered Salary in Bank of India

PAY SCALE : BASIC PAY AS BELOW  AND OTHER ALLOWANCES AND PERQUISITES AS APPLICABLE:
Present Scale of Basic Pay  (in Rs.) –
JMG Scale I  :    14500- 600/7 – 18700-700/2 – 20100-800/7-25700
(The above Scale of Basic pay is subject to amendments of appropriate provisions in the Bank of India Officers’ Service Regulations, 1979) .

Eligibility for application in Bank of India

Age : Minimum 21 years – Maximum 30 years as on 01.07.2011.
Age Relaxation as follows
i) Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe candidates by 5 years.
ii) Other Backward Classes candidates by 3 years.
iii) PWD category candidates – 10 years in addition to their respective category i.e. (a) by total 15 years for SC/ST Category (b) by total 13 years for OBC category and (c) by total 10 years for General Category.

Education – Minimum 60% (55% for SC/ST/OC/VI/HI) in Graduation or equivalent from a recognized college/ university.

Minimum marks in IBPS PO/MT CWE 2011 Total Weighted Score all subjects combined is 130. And for reserved category the score will be 117.

The application procedure for Bank of India Recruitment 2012

Candidate can apply through online. There is no convensional offline application. The Online Form will be available on the official website of Bank of India from 19th January 2012 to 31th January 2012.

APPLICATION FEE (NON-REFUNDABLE) :

(a) Application fees for SC/ST/PWD/Ex-service-men Candidates – Nil.
(b) For all other candidates – Rs.200/-

Bank of India PO Selection Process

There is no seperate written test of Bank of India PO. The Marks of IBPS PO Examination taken into consideration. There is only an interview for shortlisted candidates. The total mark of interview is 100 and the cutoff is 50 for general and 45 for reserved people. The final selection list is based on the combined score of interview and the IBPS PO test.
